Refund and Return Policy

At Pro Catering Equipment Supplies, we stand behind the quality of our equipment. We understand that sometimes an item may not meet your needs, and we aim to make the return process as straightforward as possible.

1. Return Window

You have 14 days from the date of delivery or collection to request a return for your items. To be eligible, your item must be unused, in the same condition that you received it, and in its original packaging.

2. How to Initiate a Return

  • Please include: Your order number, the item(s) you wish to return, and the reason for the return.

3. Return Shipping & Costs

  • Defective or Incorrect Items: If the item is faulty, damaged upon arrival, or if we sent the wrong product, Pro Catering Equipment Supplies will cover the cost of the return shipping and arrange for a courier to collect the item.
  • Change of Mind: If you are returning an item for any other reason (e.g., it is no longer needed), you will be responsible for the cost of returning the item to our Midrand warehouse. Shipping costs are non-refundable.

4. Inspection and Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected (usually within 3 business days), we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

  • Approved Refunds: The refund will be processed back to your original payment method (Credit Card, EFT, etc.) within 5–7 business days.
  • Restocking Fee: Please note that for large equipment (e.g., mobile trailers, cold rooms, or generators), a restocking fee of up to 10% may apply to cover the cost of technical inspection and repackaging.

5. Non-Returnable Items

Certain types of items cannot be returned:

  • Customized/Bespoke Orders: Any equipment custom-built to your specifications (e.g., custom-branded trailers or specific modular container modifications).
  • Used Items: For health and safety reasons, catering equipment that has been used for food preparation cannot be returned.

6. Damaged or Faulty Goods

If your equipment arrives damaged, please document the damage with photos and contact us within 24 hours of delivery. We will prioritize a replacement or a full refund, including all shipping costs.

7. Exchanges

The fastest way to ensure you get what you need is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
